Accessible Sailing on Lake George and elsewhere...
Counting Down to Spring Sailing...
Sunday, May 6 is opening day for Y-Knot. We have our first Volunteer Training Day, beginning at 10 am, and the first session of our popular Learn to Sail classes kicks off at 1 pm. It's mid-April, we're only three weeks away, and the lake is still frozen and there's snow falling on Camp Chingachgook. But we're confident that there will be no need to dodge ice floes while tacking up the lake on May 6...

Come Play Pool With Y-Knot!
April 22 marks the date of the third annual Y-Knot Pool Party at Diamond Eight Billiards in Latham. Come play all afternoon. There will be food, plenty of pool, and hopefully some video of Louis Vuitton Cup racing, the series that leads to the America's Cup. Doors open at noon. You can play all afternoon for a contribution of $35. Friends and family (kids too) are welcome in this smoke-free environment. Please RSVP to Rebecca at 518-861-7418. Hope to see you there!
Directions to Diamond Eight:
- Take Northway (I-87) to Exit 7 (Troy/Cohoes)
- Stay right, follow signs for Latham/Cohoes (Routes 9 and 9R)
- Bear right onto Route 9 North
- Take right at first light onto Route 9R
- Stay in right lane, through 2nd light
- Next right is Diamond Eight!
